Steroid hormones play a pivotal role in various women's health conditions. In particular, the growth and progression of two highly prevalent disorders—endometriosis and uterine fibroids—are closely linked to oestrogen. The advent of oral GnRH antagonists has significantly expanded the therapeutic options available, offering new avenues for both clinicians and patients. This presentation will review the current clinical evidence supporting the use of oral GnRH antagonists, examine their efficacy in managing symptoms associated with endometriosis and uterine fibroids, and explore potential future indications for these therapies.
