Congress Program

A wide range of topics were discussed under the broad Congress themes of:

  • Novel treatments, targets and methods for their discovery
  • Medical, surgical and fertility management

  • People, policy and politics in endometriosis

Complementing these presentations were engaging keynote presentations and seminar and symposia sessions led by invited speakers, as well as show-stopper sessions including:

  • The Welcome Reception in the exhibition on Wednesday evening, sponsored by Bio-Rad
  • An Education Suite Session on Thursday afternoon, sponsored by ParagonCare and Samsung
  • Early/Mid Career Researcher Networking Drinks at Cafe Del Mar on Thursday evening
  • A Congress Breakfast Session on Friday morning, sponsored by Theramex*
  • The Congress Celebration onboard The Jackson on Friday evening
  • Industry sessions over the lunch break on Thursday and Friday, sponsored by Gedeon Richter and Ziwig
  • A yoga class or walking tour each morning, sponsored by Gedeon Richter

WES/WERF also held a Consortium Workshop for Research Priorities in Endometriosis, and the World Endometriosis Organisations and Endometriosis Australia ran a pre-Congress course on Wednesday.
